Fully qualified Mechanical Engineering (Diploma + Degree) exhibiting both RPEng and RPEQ standing, all design is undertaken in accordance with the relevant Australian or other International Standards and/or Mines Design Guidelines (MDG’s) as applicable.
Machine Testing
Gathering the correct information during testing is of vital importance to providing input to designs or understanding machine performance and reliability issues. Mechintellect Consulting Engineers has vast experience in machine testing. With extensive range of projects involving both short-term and long-term testing, a test program can be designed to suit your specific requirements. Parameters such as strain, acceleration, torque and pressure are routinely measured however other parameters can also be tested as required.
Computational Analysis
Rudimentary hand calculations in addition to Finite Element Analysis software are used to assess machine structures and components.
Strength and fatigue life assessment is routinely undertaken to ensure the required service life is achieved or indeed exceeded. Fatigue analysis is carried out in accordance with BS7608.
These techniques are used when designing or certification of new equipment or assisting where a machines performance and reliability require improvement.
Failure Analysis
